All Indian Metro cities generates more plastic waste except kochi, pune, surat and jaipur
All we know that plastic produces toxic fumes when it is burnt and of course it cause cancer too. But today more than 60 major cities India has produced massive amount of plastic waste, consumption of plastic in the country was 11 million tonnes from last year to 2015 by Mr.Prakash Javadekar, Environment Minister. Everyday our major Indian cities waste has estimated to be around 3500 tonnes.
Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai generating the more plastic waste. Mr. Javadekar said the environmental impact of plastic waste has been examined soon in this year and the public awareness regarding the plastic waste will be published by the government .
Plastic carry bags
Ultimately if the plastic bags are not collected systematically it will be the massive consequences to Living beings. Sometimes Animals also consumes plastic bags that leads to their illness and death. So public awareness and finding alternate way to replace the plastic bags will save the Future generation from illness.
